Throughout his life, Conrad Pickel was featured in many magazines and newspapers for his imagination & creativity in stained glass design.
Mr. Pickel was an artist - sculptor, painter, designer - and he was always striving to find ways to make our environment a more beautiful place.
For example, he designed these glass towers to camouflage city water towers. Although designed in the middle of his career, the designs still maintain a futuristic appearance.
His big dream was to build a stained glass art museum of giant sphere-shaped buildings. Mr. Pickel envisioned each of five spheres representing a century of our country's history.
