What: A colorful mosiac sign, welcoming visitors and residents to downtown Vero Beach: The Hibiscus City.
Original possible designs for the hibiscus mosaic.
The final design for the mosaic is chosen and rendered. The next step is for the drawing to be enlarged to full size. The full size drawing is then shipped to Italy, where Italian craftsmen select and fine cut each piece. Each individual piece is then glued to a special heavy paper and sent back to Pickel Studio for permanent installation.
